Most of what I’m drawn to sits somewhere between people and place. Portraits tend to emerge rather than being planned.

I tend to work in a fairly observational way. I’m not big on over-directing or constructing scenes. If something needs shaping I’m comfortable doing that, but most of the time I’d rather let things unfold. I’m particularly interested in editorial and commercial work that leans towards natural, uncontrived imagery, often in situations that aren’t really controlled.
